Our insights were shared with representatives from Embraco’s worldwide branches, who collaborated to develop service and product opportunities in a participatory design workshop.





In-depth
We conducted exhaustive qualitative research to understand the technical product needs and opportunities for Embraco’s EMEA clients. To understand the specific context of refrigeration compressors, we organized interviews with Embraco experts, refrigerator manufacturers, supermarket architects and technical specifiers in addition to completing desk research. These expert insights complemented our ethnographic research, which was conducted in over 15 convenience stores, fast-food restaurants and small-to-medium-sized supermarkets across France, Turkey and Germany. Our global research insights were shared in a participatory design workshop with different representatives from Embraco’s worldwide branches in attendance. This reunion fostered spirited collaboration, as the country and region representatives worked together to evaluate emerging product and service innovation opportunities.
