Until recently he was also a Senior Associate Professor at Interaction Design Institute Ivrea, Italy.
His design research focused on the user experience of mobile telecommunications devices and services.
Classes taught included 50 Ways to Understand a User, Designing Desire and Strategic Design: Putting People First.

In 2002 our partner Jan-Christoph Zoels coined the term Applied Dreams at the meanwhile closed Interaction Design Institute Ivrea.
