World Usability Day on 3 November - major event in Rome
16 October 2005
The Usability Professionals’ Association (UPA) organises on 3 November 2005 a global World Usability Day, with events in 77 cities and 33 countries.
The World Usability Day event in Rome, Italy, is organised by Experientia’s president Michele Visciola, who is the president of the UPA-Italy chapter and a member of the editorial board of UPA’s User Experience Magazine.
The Italian event, which is also aimed at a non-specialised audience, is sponsored by Experientia and will be hosted by the Italian Ministry of Communications. It will focus on the reality of those who practice usability in major companies, on the usability of interfaces of online public services, on the communication with non-Italians, on the relation between usability and accessibility, on usability and digital television, and on usability and mobility services.
Experientia partners Mark Vanderbeeken and Jan-Christoph Zoels will also be involved as speakers or session chairs.
