Travel website preferences
Expedia, the online travel service, wanted to upgrade its portal website and take into account the user and use requirements of potential travellers, i.e. how people organise and plan their journeys and what their behaviours and special needs are.
Experientia’s formative testing identified critical issues for the company to take into account as well as a series of design opportunities to develop in the future.
The Experientia approach focused on:
- understanding cultural differences and communalities in user requirements
- improving the user experience by helping the company better structure the information seeking and decision making processes
